RECAP:  
Massan has been transfered to sales for their whisky while Eichiro is in charge of its production. Massan's challenge now is to promote their whisky and find people who will buy it. He is at Kohinobori talking with everyone about where to go and they tease him about not even having a fake smile to help his sales pitch.

RECAP:  
It's November 1928 and four years have passed since the official opening of the Yamazaki Distillery. Emma has turned 4 years old and has quite the personality. She fights with Ellie and Massan about eating carrots, which she hates. One day, while Ellie is talking with her friends about Emma's eating habits, Emma comes up and asks to eat some candy but Ellie says that it is too close to dinner time, causing Emma to get upset and storm off. That night at dinner, Massan tells Ellie that he will get Emma to eat her carrots but instead he secretly offers to eat her carrots for her and is eventually caught by Ellie.

Week 12: "If winter comes, can spring be far behind?"

RECAP:  
Ellie is still in the hospital but Catherine comes by with lots of food that she made with Umeko and Momoko. Massan still hasn't returned to the hospital so they end up eating without him. As they are enjoying their dinner, Massan finally returns and begins to talk to Eichiro about work. Ellie tries to tell him that he doesn't need to continue taking time off, that he can return to work if he needs to but Massan says that it's not necessary. As they joke, Massan sees Ellie's smile and starts to tear up which both Eichiro and Catherine are quick to notice. Catherine asks if Eichiro will walk home with her and once they get to Massan and Ellie's home, she asks Eichiro if he is hiding anything. Back at the hospital, Ellie can also sense that something is wrong with Massan.

Recap - Massan Week 11, Ep 66

Week 11: "There is no treasure more precious than a child"

RECAP:  
Massan comes out of Ellie's hospital room and finds that Eichiro has been waiting outside. He apologizes for everything and says that it was his fault Ellie fell.

The next morning at the Yamazaki distillery, Mr. Kamoi gets everyone together and tells them that Massan will be taking some time off to be with Ellie. He also announces that he has invited several reporters to come and will hold a formal tour of their Yamazaki distillery next month where he would like to introduce the first making of whisky in Japan.

RECAP:  
Eichiro is arguing with his father as he refuses to apologize to him. He eventually retreats to his room upstairs and Mr. Kamoi apologizes to Massan and Ellie for the embarrassing display. Ellie brings up what Eichiro told her about his mother being in the hospital while his father just stayed at work. Mr. Kamoi says that what he said was true, he did keep working while his wife was in the hospital. He admits that he may not be a very good father but he wants Eichiro to become a man and by leaving him in Massan and Ellie's care, since Massan is currently chasing his dream and Ellie is in the midst of living an adventure of her own in a foreign country, he thinks Eichiro can learn a lot from them.

RECAP:  
The next day after Massan and Ellie's celebration at Kohinobori, Eichiro is helping Ellie wash dishes and apologizes for his behavior at the party last night. Ellie asks him why he was crying and Eichiro answers that it was because of everything, he was moved by the kindness of everyone in the neighborhood and their caring for Ellie's future child. He says that Ellie is truly amazing with her strength and kindness.

Massan tries to get Eichiro to have some interest in the work at the distillery but Eichiro just wants to take the afternoon off. When he arrives home, him and Ellie talk for a bit and Ellie finds out that his mother passed away 10 years ago.
