Today's episode is full of misunderstandings and frustration as Ellie cannot understand why Massan was out late last night drinking "for work." Massan is also finally able to make some small progress in reducing the costs of his whisky making plan.

Today Ellie is so excited to have finally made delicious rice for Massan but is disappointed when he doesn't come home until late, and when he does come home, he is in no condition to eat any food. Poor Ellie. :(

We had a pretty positive episode today as we began with another welcomed visitor at the house. As Massan is making progress with his whisky making, Ellie is also finally making progress in learning how to cook rice and there might even be a long-awaited friendship in the making.

Our surprise visitor, Yuko, begins to show a tiny bit of compassion to Ellie today. Meanwhile, Ellie is still struggling to make rice and ends up with either rice porridge or burnt rice. We also see that she is not the only one in the area with an international marriage!
