Episode 62 (12/9/2014)
RECAP:
Catherine notices Eichiro at the house and the girls come over to find out whats been going on. They are actually more curious about her and Massan acting so strangely at Kohinobori the other night. Ellie says that she will explain in due time but then suddenly becomes sick. Now Catherine and the girls know exactly what she is not tell them.
Eichiro is introduced to everyone at the Yamazaki distillery and when asked what to call him, he refuses to be called "Kamoi" as he doesn't not want to be associated with father or becoming the next president of the company. He says that he prefers to go by his first name and Massan shows him around and has him begin helping out.
Later, Massan finds Eichiro at lunch sitting by himself and asks him what his dream is for the future. Eichiro replies that that question is pointless since everything is decided for him by his father. Massan asks if he really hates his father and Eichiro replies that he does.
Once Eichiro's father leaves, he finally opens up to Massan and Ellie and explains that he will take care of his own meals and laundry himself and does not want to interfere with their lives. He ends up staying in a room upstairs and when Massan and Ellie go to leave him be, Ellie tells him that English lessons will begin from tomorrow. Eichiro tells her in English that he already has a pretty good command of English so lessons won't be necessary. Instead he would rather she taught him about the Western idea of "liberty."
